14:09 < Rejo> SandraB_ripencc: What's the difference between this and the #coop channel?
14:09 < Djinh_ncc> #coop is for the co-operation wg session
14:09 < brian> Rejo: This is a different working group. CleanIT kinda straddles the boundary, but it's reported on here.
14:10 < SandraB_ripencc> Thanks Brian :)

14:12 < SandraB_ripencc> basically the Cooperation WG discusses outreach from the ripe community to governments, regulators and NGOs and the anti-abuse is usually about online abuse. It covers technical but also non-technical sides.

14:27 < Bradley> Oh no
14:27 < SandraB_ripencc> ah
14:27 < SandraB_ripencc> :)
14:27 < shane> I don't think people understand how insanely open and transparent people working on the Internet actually are.
14:28 < Alexander> Question to But Klassen: How many terrirorstic acts have been prevented in his country? How many of them have been prevented by usage of Internet?
14:28 < SandraB_ripencc> I will ask your question, Alexander.
14:29 < Arjan_XS4ALL> I have a question as well: Can he list some of the participants which have been 'reached out too' in the creation of this document?
14:29 < Rejo> SandraB_ripencc: Given that some of the proposal have a clear impact on the fundamental rights of internet users and given the fact that several governement institutions are involved in delivering the objectives, shouldn't these proposed restrictions based on formal law? Such rules must be created in full transparancy and the parliament must be able to reject proposals w/ restrictions on freedom of communications and privacy when it sees fit. ...
